Patient Personas are your Secret Sauce for connecting
Chats with Russ
These couple of short videos (each less than 40 seconds) are from an hour-long chat that I had with Jess + Scott + YOU on the topic of personas: the value of personas for connecting with your audience.
Frankly, I don’t think that it’s worth your time to watch the entire hour, but I do think that you can probably spare 40 seconds for the excerpts below:
And I do love Scott’s comment on the value of Personas for connecting with your audience:
And his opinion echoes my own experience:
In my experience, developing content for a specific Persona can be the Secret Sauce (as Scott suggests) for boosting your connection with your audience. As one example, writing for a single persona for my clinical-practice education blog resulted in tripling (yes, 3X!!) traffic to that blog in less than a year.
If you’re curious about Personas in Healthcare, stay tuned … I will be posting one of my typically-too-long articles later this week (1,800 words) on Patient Personas to answer these frequently asked questions:
- what are personas?
- what’s the difference between a persona and a demographic?
- what do personas have to do with healthcare marketing?
- ok, so I get it … how do I develop a patient persona?
And more … and you’ll be able to download my Patient Persona Blueprint.
So, see you here later this week, and until then … keep chillin :)
